iCalendar/vCalendar - In addition to subscriptions, Helios supports iCalendar & vCalendar event downloads allowing your visitors to save your events to their personal desktop calendars.

Personal Web Calendars - Users of Google, Yahoo & Windows Live calendars can save events directly to their personal web calendar with just a click.

Distributed Event & Venue Publishing

Mobile Site - Helios Calendar includes a WAP 2.0 mobile calendar that allows your users to browse and search events using any mobile browser that supports XHTML-MP 1.2, including browsers available on many popular PDAs and mobile telephones. Eventful® Integration - Helios Calendar supports the Eventful® publishing APIs allowing you to seamlessly publish your events to both your own website and to Eventful.com simultaneously. With Helios Calendar you can take advantage of the web's best event centric social network by submitting your events with your own custom signature and a link back to your online calendar exposing your events to a whole new audience.

Eventbrite Integration - In addition to it's RSVP event registration Helios Calendar also supports the Eventbrite publishing APIs allowing you to publish your events to Eventbrite.com, sell tickets for your events and take advantage of Eventbrite's outstanding registration management tools.

Helios also integrates your Eventbrite event's ticket sales within it's public calendar allowing your users to purchase tickets for your event from links within your Helios Calendar event details.

Word of Mouth

Twitter Integration - By using the Twitter API Helios allows you to post custom tweets to your Twitter timeline when adding, editing and approving events. Tweets include the title, location, date and time of the event, along with any custom edits you make before publishing. In addition Helios adds your custom hashtag (configured within your Helios settings) and a link to the event on your public calendar.

Your calendar visitors can tweet about your events too. When viewing an event Helios provides a link that builds the same style tweet as for admin users (containing the event details, hashtag & link) and redirects the user to Twitter.com so that, once logged in, they can save the tweet to their timeline. Additionally, Helios allows users to post their event comments as tweets. When posting a comment for an event users can check an optional checkbox and they will be able to save their comment (again, with hashtag & link) to their own Twitter timeline.

Email to a Friend - Your calendar visitors can tell their friends about your events via Email to a Friend. Recipients receive a personalized message (up to 250 characters) written by their friend with a link to the event on your calendar.

Social Networks - Helios Calendar includes links to over seventy (70) of the most popular social bookmark/content sharing sites. With just a click on the icon of their favorite site your visitors can share your event, allowing your users to promote your events all over the web.

Event Newsletters - Your site visitors can sign-up for the categories they are interested in and you can send newsletters by selecting the date range. You can optionally build customized HTML templates and save them for later use to dress up your newsletters.
